Tampa, Fla., October 25, 2005/ - Amscot Financial, a leading provider of convenient, consumer-oriented financial services, recently donated 75 PC’s, 75 monitors, 15 printers and 25 hubs to Cops and Computers for the Community, a nonprofit, charitable organization that gives computers to children and adults with special needs. To date, this year’s donation from Amscot Financial is the largest donation ever received by the program.

The surplus equipment, which has been thoroughly cleaned and loaded with new software, will eventually be given to children from disadvantaged neighborhoods, single mothers in adult learning classes and elderly citizens that are confined to nursing homes.
