How do I get started?

You'll first want to use our office locator to find the Amscot Tax Service center nearest you. And with more than 174 offices throughout the West Central Florida Area, doing so shouldn't be a problem.

Then, stop by our office anytime. We have flexible hours and absolutely no appointment is necessary. Just be sure to bring your wage statements, Social Security cards, driver's license and a copy of last year's tax return.

How long does it take to get my money?

When you file the standard way, your refund can typically take between 10-21 days to arrive. However, when you use Amscot, our Refund Anticipation Loan is by far the fastest way to get your tax money. As a matter of fact, nobody can get your tax money faster. "And that's our promise!"

Do I need to pay for your services at the time of filing?

No, we will gladly file your tax return and you pay our tax preparation fees from
your refund when you use one of our bank products.

An authorized IRS e-file provider is a tax firm that is accepted into the IRS electronic filing program. Amscot Tax Service is authorized by the IRS to file your return electronically.

Does Amscot charge a fee to electronically file my return?

When you call or stop by any of our Amscot Tax Service centers, we will gladly explain our fees for tax preparation and e-filing. You will see that our fees are extremely reasonable and are not based on any figures from your tax return.
