Important Information About Your Money Order
Your money order receipt stub is required for stop payment and as proof of purchase. A replacement of the money order will not be considered until 30 days after purchase date and a fee will be charged for this service. Other fees may apply.
If your money order is lost, stolen or destroyed, go into any Amscot branch and request a money order claim form. Fill out the money order claim form completely, attach the original money order stub and mail it all together with a $12.00 non-refundable money order (for the processing fee) to the address specified on the claim form. Requests
will only be processed if the original money order stub is included.
If this money order is not presented for payment within one year from date of purchase, the issuer will impose a service charge of two dollars ($2.00) for each month or fraction thereof, thereafter, that this money order remains unpaid up to a maximum of one hundred and forty-four dollars ($144.00).
