Haines City, Fla., September 20, 2008 - Amscot Financial held an open house on Saturday, September 20, at its new location at 35938 U.S. Highway 27 in Haines City. Amscot presented a $500 contribution in support of the Citrus Center Boys & Girls Club.

Citrus Center Boys and Girls Club Inc. is for boys and girls ages five through 18 years old. The headquarters are at 2400 Havendale Blvd. in Winter Haven. A North Ridge unit at the Adolphus Howard Complex at 704 Ave. C in Haines City serves about 200 children a year, with about 80 a day at the center. The club's primary mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive and caring citizens.
