Tampa, FL – (March 27, 2007) – Amscot Financial, a leading provider of convenient, consumer-oriented financial services, is pleased to make a $2,500 contribution to support the 5th Annual Orange County Black History Gala.
The gala is organized by annually by the Black History Committee of Orange County, Inc. The event celebrates the achievements of African Americans and raises funds for college scholarships. This year, the committee awarded scholarships to students attending University of Central Florida, Florida A&M University, Valencia Community College and Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens.
