The purpose of the third annual Women's Leadership Summit was to motivate, inspire and empower women to assume leadership roles in business, politics and their community. More than 500 women from throughout Central Florida attended to hear motivational speakers and participate in workshops focusing on leadership skills.

Orange County Mayor Rich Crotty, the summit’s organizer, said: “The Women's Leadership Summit serves to inspire women to assume leadership roles in business, politics and their community. Participation in this event provides an opportunity for women to hear from nationally recognized speakers, discuss ways to improve their leadership skills and identify options to make a difference in their own lives.”
