"I strongly encourage all citizens to take advantage of the voter registration opportunities being made available by Amscot Financial and the Financial Service Centers of America's (FiSCA) national Voter Registration Program. Amscot's local voter registration program represents a bridge to electoral participation," said Florida Senator
Les Miller.
"Amscot's participation in FiSCA's voter registration program will ensure that our customers' voices are heard loud and clear on Election Day and beyond," said Ian A. "Amscot proves again that it is a good corporate neighbor. By being involved in this voter registration initiative, Amscot has demonstrated its willingness to give back to the communities it serves. Thanks Amscot for your leadership," said Florida State Representative Ken Littlefield.
"FiSCA believes that every voice should be heard and that every vote does count. That's why FiSCA has established this voter registration drive," said Gary A. Dachis, Chairman of FiSCA. "We want to bring all of our mainstream financial services customers into the political mainstream."
FiSCA's national voter registration program runs from May through the end of October with several voter registration events planned across the country. FiSCA is supplying members with promotional posters, voter registration forms, and voter registration instruction guides. So far, more than 100 FiSCA members representing over 900 stores across the country have signed up to register voters.
"Our customers reflect a cross-section of America, they're extremely loyal and have strong opinions about the services they need," said Dachis. "They also expect their elected representatives in Washington, in state capitals and in their local communities to represent their interests. By registering and then voting, our customers will speak with a loud voice that will reverberate through the polling booths and will sure to be heard in the
halls of government."
