At Amscot, we cash personal checks, computer and handwritten payroll checks, insurance checks, Cashier’s checks, and government checks. We also cash money orders, traveler’s checks, out-of-state and international checks. There are no limits –
we can cash a check of any amount. In order to cash your check, you must bring a government issued, photo ID (i.e., driver’s license, military ID, passport) with you.

You may be wondering what it will cost to cash your check with us - we have fee schedules posted in the lobby of each branch. Our fees are much lower than the maximum fees allowed by the state. Our goal is to cash your check quickly and efficiently so you can have the money you need in hand.
